Will it grow in sand? If your daylily seedlings will grow in sand they will probably grow anywhere. What percentage of new introductions will perform well in sandy or ordinary clay soils? A surprisingly low percentage. Here in Houston County Georgia's sandy soil  I can test the ultimate performance of a seedling. I continue to breed for spatulate uf's although this was not my original plan. Oops Another Miracle continues to provide surprises and valuable bridge plants in this work. One of the biggest surprises of the year was a large pattern with a blue eye from seedling 2-2-4 x Oops Another Miracle. Crosses both ways with Ledgewood's Calico Blues X seedling S-S-1 provided well branched seedlings with various shades of blue and a few with unusual form. And a few large green eyes were a pleasant surprise............................................................................

Guye,
It was never introduced and is not a reliable bloomer like it's parent Texas Kaleidoscope. I used it mainly as a breeder.
