The Judges' Viewpoint

Alfie has some fantastic show critiques from respected Judges. Some of the most recent:

"What a great Spinone he is. Head to die for, this is what I have been looking for; just oozes quality. Correct divergent planes, sculpting through zygomatic arches and backskull, arched neck into shoulders which are well laid back. Chest broad, deep, well ribbed up. Broad muscular thighs, tight feet. Moved around the ring in a ground pounding trot.  Won on movement just didn’t put a foot wrong. CC."

Breed Specialist Judge Doreen Hardie

"This beautifully constructed dog was just what I was looking for. Stood four square with the best of heads with excellent head planes and a lovely expression. Strong neck with well placed shoulders. Correct topline with super width of thigh. Excellent depth and substance. Correct tailset. In tip top condition and so well presented. He covered the ground with his free and easy movement. Pleased to award him the CC & BOB."

Rude Boy's

Rude Boy aptly demonstrates the versatility of the Spinone breed. He is a patient companion to his young owner Lily Morrell and is now making strides in the realms of Obedience having recently been promoted to the advanced class with one of his kennel mates Luigi, Bannonbrig Lord Snooty

He is also proving his worth as Sire and his first litter of pups have been winning their classes and Best Puppy awards following their debut in the summer of 2010 for Claire and Lee Sharp's Afterglow team in partnership with Mike Gadsby
