WELCOME TO DALINSET ITALIAN GREYHOUNDS

The Dalinset affix was established in 1975 and we have been
actively involved with Italian Greyhounds since 1997.
Although we breed only a small number of litters we are absolutely committed to responsible and careful breeding of strong healthy puppies which are sound as well as being true to type.  We fervently believe it is wrong to knowingly breed from any dog that is affected by or know to carry a gene for any heritable disease or condition.  We fully endorse and support the research being carried out into idiopathic epilepsy in the breed by the IG rescue Charity in conjunction with the Animal Health Trust.

TOP IG BREEDERS 2008 & 2009 (Our Dogs competition)

Ch Dalinset Canzonetta (Gloria) was
TOP ITALIAN GREYHOUND 2008 & 2009 (Dog World Competition) and
BEST OF BREED, CRUFTS 2009

Dalinset Canzone alla Luna (Luna) was TOP BROOD BITCH 2009 (Dog World Competition) based on the wins of the puppies from her only litter Gloria and Angela.

DARLINGTON CH SHOW 2009

At Darlington Ch Show Lily - Dalinset Pamina - won her 2nd CC (And Dalinset's 40th!) and BoB,
Gloria - Ch Dalinset Canzonetta won Open Bitch and the RBCC  - Under Per Iversen (Norway)

Scottish Kennel Club August 2009

At SKC (Aug) 2009 Lily- Dalinset Pamina - won her 1st CC under judge Mr Michael Pullen (Hestia) to add to her 4 Res CCs at just 17 months of age.

Welsh Kennel Club 2009

At WKC August 2009 Lily - Dalinset Pamina - won her 4th RCC under Michael Quinney

BOURNEMOUTH CH SHOW 2009

At Bournemouth 2009, Gloria- CH Dalinset Canzonetta - was awarded her 10th CC, and BoB under Judge Bryan Mitchell. She was once again shortlisted in the toygroup under Mrs Sheila Sadler.


Angela - Ch. Dalinset Benedetta was 2nd in Open Bitch behind her sister.

Italian Greyhound Club Championship Show August 2009

At the Italian Greyhound CLub Championship show 1st August 2009 Gloria  - Ch. Dalinset Canzonetta was awarded her 9th CC and Reserve Best in Show by Judge Mrs Julia Smith (Narrabo)

LEEDS CH SHOW 2009

At Leeds Championship Show 24th July 2009. 
Angela: CH. Dalinset Benedetta won her 3rd CC with Best of breed under Brenda Banbury.  She then went on to win 4th in the Toy group under Ellis Hulme.

Angela is the 3rd Dalinset Italian Greyhound to be group-placed this year the others being Dalinset Pamina (Gp2 East of England) and Ch Dalinset Canzonetta (Gp 4 at WELKS)

EAST OF ENGLAND CH SHOW 2009

At East of England CH show 2009 LIly - Dalinset Pamina won Best AVNCSC Toy under Eliis Hulme and we were delighted when she then went onto win

2nd in Toy GroupUnder Albert Wight.

Gloria was Reserve best bitch AVNSC

BLACKPOOL CH SHOW 2009

CH Dalinset Canzonetta  - Gloria - Wins her 5th CC and BoB of 2009  - under Dr Goran Bodegard. - making a total of 8CCs all with BoB . she was also once again shortlisted in the Toygroup under Martin Freeman.

Dalinset Benedetta - Angela was 1st in Limit Bitch - remaining unbeaten in her classes this year.

SKC and BATH CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW

Scottish Kennel Club - Judge T Nethercott

 a 7th CC and BOB Hodges' family Champion Dalinset Canzonetta

Her 4th of 2009 ! Shortlisted in Group

RBCC  Dalinset Pamina from the Junior class.

 Another Reserve Challenge Certificate  for Dalinset Pamina from the Junior Class
 And another 1st  Limit Bitch for Dalinset Benedetta   who has now won her way out of Limit!

Birmingham  National Championship Show

 won her 2nd CC under Judge Paolo Dondina from Italy.
Her first was awarded by Andrew Brace at SKC

WELKS CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW

Champion Dalinset Canzonetta     
Won her 3rd CC  of 2009 ( all with BOB ) at WELKS Championship Show. She now has 6CCs and BoBs and 4 RCCs

To our delight she also won Group 4 under judge Liz Cartledge.
