The Dalinset affix was established in 1975 and we have been
actively involved with Italian Greyhounds since 1997.
Although we breed only a small number of litters we are absolutely committed to responsible and careful breeding of strong healthy puppies which are sound as well as being true to type.  We fervently believe it is wrong to knowingly breed from any dog that is affected by or known to carry a gene for any heritable disease or condition.  We fully endorse and support the research being carried out into idiopathic epilepsy in the breed by the IG rescue Charity in conjunction with the Animal Health Trust.

TOP IG BREEDERS 2008 & 2009 (Our Dogs competition)

Ch Dalinset Canzonetta (Gloria) was
TOP ITALIAN GREYHOUND 2008 & 2009 (Dog World Competition) and
BEST OF BREED, CRUFTS 2009

Dalinset Canzone alla Luna (Luna) was TOP BROOD BITCH 2009 (Dog World Competition) based on the wins of the puppies from her only litter Gloria and Angela.


 Lily - Ch Dalinset Pamina was Best of Breed CRUFTS 2010

Newest Champion Enzo - CH Dalinset Sarastro finished 2010 as TOP PUPPY 2010 and finished 2011 at LKA winning his 8th CC - which was our 50th CC in total.

Manchester 2012

Enzo - CH Dalinset Sarastro won Best Dog under Vandella Williams.

LKA 2011

At LKA - the final show of 2011, Enzo won his 8th CC, again with Best of Breed under well known all rounder Mr Terry Nethercott.  This was our 50th CC in total and was a lovely way to end the year.

Midland Counties 2011

Enzo had a break from shows for 2 months and at his first show since early september won the Dog CC and Best of Breed at Midland Counties under norwegian judge Per Iverson.  He went on to be shortlisted in the group under Stuart Mallard and can be seen in the dog world TV prograpmme "Around the dog world" which was shown on the Horse and Country channel.

City of Birmingham 2011

At City Of Birmingham 2011 Enzo was 2nd in Open Dog and was awarded the Reserve Dog CC Under Liz Stannard.
We are also delighted that Sophie - Freith Symphony - owned by Frances Hickman, Sired by Santo Ch Hanjy Helation at Dalinset, and Handled as usual by Russell, Won limit bitch and was then awarded the Reserve bitch CC, giving her her stud book entry.

SKC August 2011

Russell was Judging at SKC in August 2011 and Awarded the Dog CC to Linda Lockie and Pat Spencer's (Ch) Rilloby Head Over Heels (his 3rd = New Champion!) Bitch CC and Best of Breed (and shortlisted in the Toy group) was Helen Lister's Ch Florita Tipitina.  Best Puppy was Jo Amsel's Artmeis Cover Girl
Reserve CCs were awarded to Kay Rutter's Chrisford Forced Entry and Jo Amsel's Ch Artmeis Kaaliya.

Welsh Kennel Club 2011

At Welsh Kennel CLub August 2011 Enzo won Open Dog and his 6th CC under Dr Geoffrey Curr (Natimuk) .  Lily was 3rd in a very large Open Bitch class.

Leeds Championship Show 2011

At Leeds Championship SHow July 2011 Enzo - Ch Dalinset Sarastro - won open Dog and the Dog CC - his 5th. Under Ben Reynolds Frost.

Southern Counties.

At Southern Counties Ch Show (No CCs on offer for IGs) Enzo won Open Dog and was awarded Best Dog by Tony Allcock (Sleepyhollow)

Bath Championship Show May 2011

At Bath 2011 Under Judge Dr Monica Boggia-Black Enzo - Ch Dalinset Sarastro won open dog (10 entries) and the Dog CC. (his 4th)

Manchester Ch Show January 2011

At Manchester - Enzo - CH Dalinset Sarastro won Junior Dog and Reserve Best Dog, with Lily - Ch Dalinset Pamina also winning Reserve best bitch under Stephen Bardwell

Boston Ch show Jan 2011

At Boston Ch show in best AVNSC Toy, under Jim Outterside, Lily - Ch Dalinset Pamina - was 1st in open bitch and best Bitch.  Enzo - Ch Dalinset Sarastro was 2nd Junior Dog.
