Camping at Kingston on the shores of Lake Wakatipu in 1971 . Carol and Lawrence their children Larry 9, Stephen 7, Greg 4 and Paul 3 weeks. Rena and Ivan with 6 month old Karen. Wendy and Des with Sandra 8, Michael 5 and Nicky 6 weeks. We were surrounded with clothes lines full of nappies. No mod cons in camping grounds back then ha!
Our young brother Richard Evans was with us and he and the kids had a wonderful time. Larry had his first water ski and learned to ski.
The little film finishes with a bit of rough and tumble with the Dougherty boys and their Uncle Richard back home at Garrawaye Farm.
