Gregory Evan Dougherty married Paula Margaret Shortall at Fielding on the 15th January 2002.

Maggie Anne Shortall Dougherty:
Maggie Anne was born 5 weeks early on the 15th of August 2004. She was born at Charlotte Jean Maternity in Alexandra after Greg had a race to get Paula there from a weekend they were having on the West Coast. Paula and Maggie were flown to the I.C.U. unit in Queen Mary Dunedin by Helicopter where little Maggie was for 3 weeks.
