Annie Evans our Mother, Mother in Law, Grandmother and Great-Grandmother celebrated her 90th birthday with her family and friends, where she had lived for five years in the Chalet Rest Home in Ranfurly. Her Great Grandson Tom Anderson Dougherty also celebrated his birthday the same date as Annies' and had to blow out his 12 candles. Although in her last years Annie's short term memory wasn't brilliant, she never lost her sence of humour and zest for life, always gave us a giggle.  Flowers were given to her daughter  Rena  from the family and then helped by Great Granddaughter Miss Tia Dougherty blew out the candles. A special present of a lovely lazyboy chair was given to her from some of the Family. Her baby boy Richard made the speech. She had a wonderful afternoon.

This is quite cool, Rex was my great grandad, Bryan Griffiths was my grandad. Uncle Dave has done a family tree too which is really amazing to read.
