Nicky is my best friend and quite honestly the most intelligent dog I have ever met or known. He is a charm to work with however, he has taught me far more than I could ever teach him.

Unfortunately Nicky also suffers from high anxiety/reactivity issues. However, because of this, I have learned a wealth of information in my journey to help him come to terms with living in a world that is full of unwanted stimulation and stress. Nicky is the inspiration for my reactive dog courses and the book I am writing - "Indecent Exposure".

Despite his issues, Nicky has pioneered on and has managed to  accomplish a lot in his life so far.

Some of Nicky's accomplishments:

- Evening News promoting Alberta Kennel Club Dog Show
- Breakfast Television/Calgary - Promoting Canine Good
  Neighbour/HBAC
- Digging for the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Cochrane
  Humane Society - Alberta
- Appeared on Pet Guys Television Show demonstrating clicker
  training skills
- Starred in commercial for Ford Windstar

Currently he is retired and enjoying his senior years.

Nicky - my Lad

Nicky loves to run and loves his exploration walks where he can sniff and investigate. He loves to play ball, and absolutely adores swimming.
Oh...and he loves to cuddle with his Momma and Poppa and sleep under the covers.
At 13 Nicky has mellowed out and slowed down a bit, but he still loves to go for short walks and would not pass up the chance to hunt vermin.
