I would love to hear more about Worth Village - my mother's family were all from there. I remember it in the 1940's. Never see any photos of it though.

What about worth village it had a thriving comunity with its own shops schools A church and many chapels and work places.A village within a town.

I attended Whinburn School from 1972 a Mr and Mrs Young were the headmaster and matron, I have very fond memories and it saddens me to see it so run down.
