Established in 1784 when George 3rd was King

Prince-Smiths& Stells Ltd Burlington Shed - Park Works -  Devonshire Spindle Works - Strong Close Foundry - Lawkholme Sawmills
Established 1795

Robert Clough (Keighley) Ltd Grove Mills Keighley
This Robert Clough in the year 1820 bought the Old Mill at Ingrow on the banks of the Riv r Worth, where an ample water supply was available for power and process. Subsequently two further spinning mills and a weaving shed were built on the other bank of the river. Later additions were Becks and the Coney Lane Mills.

W Midgley & Sons Ltd - Dalton Mills

J W Hartley & Sons Ltd Bronte House Keighley
"Bronte" Brand Trade Mark. The firm was founded in 1874 but connections with the wool trade go back further.

Thomas Parker & Sons (Oxenhope) Ltd Royal Works Keighley
Was established in 1855 by Thomas Parker.  Eventually the Royal Mills were aquired and in 1926 the Oxenhope Mill was vacated.

Does anyone have any history about the building that N.S.F.ltd used to occupy at Ingrow.Plenty has been written about Grove Mill but nothing about NSF building?

No Tracey, it stopped trading in the late 80s I think it was. I used to work at the old place on West Lane in the 70s happy days in the despatch room!

There was a 'wash-house' ajoining the public baths in Highfield Lane. Also swimming baths. Women used to take thier dirty washing in prams, bags etc.I used it .
