Dear Deanna, Just had a special treat when I viewed your website and the fabulous pictures. So interesting. I was looking for a Deanna Mander on the internet that I went thru grade and high school with and found your website. I live in the San Fernando Valley section of Los Angeles, Calif. USA. I am a registered nurse in Pasadena, Calif. home of the Rose Parade and professional artist and graduate of an interior design program. I have 3 grown children, Sarah Villa, who has a Ph.D from UCLA in molecular biology, Matt who has a very fine position with 20th Century Fox Film Studios, and Paul who is a college grad in psychology and will attend graduate school next year to become a clinical psychologist and is also a fine classical pianist. My dearest friend, William Luckey, is Irish descent. I am British and Scottish descent from the 1600's when my ancestors came over here. It was fascinating to see the photos of how the Irish live. It's not really so different than the way we live in the US. Ireland looks so beautiful and clean and quaint and green! I have been to Britain but never to Ireland. The Rothschild castle is so magnificent and would make a wonderful watercolor. I will have a website up in a couple months if you are interested - patriciavilla.com which will feature my artwork as I am setting up a business. I specialize in portraiture in oils. I do a lot of childrens' portraits in graphite (pencil). I am a traditional artist - no modern art for me. I have studied with some of the greatest teachers here in LA. Calif. is a beautiful state with fascinating places to visit. Thank you for presenting such a beautiful website and messages. You all look so happy. Patricia Villa

Hey, Deanna! It has been a long time! I was glad to see all the beautiful pictures of you and Ireland. I have always wanted to go there. I am so jealous! Maybe I'll just show up at your door some day! :) I am a stay-at-home mom now! I'll include a pic. It is of me and my little girl. I have a big boy too! He is 2 1/2 years and she is 1 year old now.
