All good things must come to an end.  The Wollaston Theater has had a long run and has seen a galaxy of stars, but like many urban movie theaters, the time has come to say good-bye.  The theater is now availble. - William Mahan

Boston's Fenway is much more than a ball park.  Among other things it is a section of the Emerald Necklace.  The Emerald Necklace is a seven mile loop of park-land designed by Frederick Law Olmstead in the late 1800s.  The Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) is located in the Fens.  This is what the back entrance looks like on a snowy winter's day. - Bill Mahan

It's dinner time on Cape Cod and there is no better way of getting fresh fish than to go out and catch it.  Beyond the sand dunes lies the open ocean which may be more of a challenge than this group of vacationers care to take on, but when the stripers come through the inlets there is no need to.     - William F Mahan

Dogwood trees are brilliant in the Spring, but this gaggle is on the lookout for a dog of a different kind.  They don't trust him despite his leash so they make their exit while he is still distracted.

Though visibility is clear inside the jetty, a fog bank has settled in beyond the channel marker.  Only a swatch of blue sky is visible through the thin left edge of the misty gray wall.  - William F Mahan
