Dear Mary, Thankyou so much for the lovely e-card with extra cake too! I have a thrush and a hedgehog in my garden - lots of slugs and snails to eat you see - so the card was brilliant. The Alz group enjoyed their cake and 'seconds'! I had some beautiful flowers and it was a happy day. Take care Love and hugs Freda

Dear Mary, A very belated 'happy birthday' to you and very well done to you and Jim on the 'no smoking' schedule. Good news about your scan too. I seem to miss you and BB on the chat now - probably click over too late as my computer very slow and emails take such time. Please give my love to BB when you chat - I think of you both and families. I had a fall - front forward off a stationery bus - not many can do that! No broken bones but very shaken up, fingers somehow bent back and bang on head! Am busy this week again tho' with trip (!) to Aquarium tomorrow, Alz support group on Thursday and 55+ group on Friday - lots of cake all round as my 70th (sshh) birthday. Cannot believe it! Take care Love and hugs Freda

I will be scare to take mom off that medication, because it has helped her so much.. I wanted to let you know also that I am happy that you are trying to quite smoking, that's a great thing you are doing for yourself.. Well Mary keep us updated. PS. I came back from my trip to Puerto Rico with mom, we both had a great time. Mom enjoyed herself very much, she spended time with her sister that she hasn't seen for 11 or 13 years and i was very suprised that mom kind of recognized her first. Mom didn't have any problems, thank God..
This is one of the beautiful beaches of Puerto Rico..

Thanks for that information about autonomic neuropathy - sounds likely for me and I like the thought of small frequent meals! A bit too much I fear! Am taking the advice and looking for a pantsuit. Love and hugs freda
