The next trip out is in October 2008 I am looking to take a team of 7 people to Botswana to help in two of the orphanages, by putting together a programme of events to keep the children occupied during their holiday time. This will give the carer's a break and also give the children an opportunity to learn new skills and activities. The main requirement is that you are willing to work with children and take part in assisting where you can.

House being built in Serowe
Money is good, whatever currency you have, no matter how small, it will go a long way to helping pay for the maintenance of a family, or go towards the building costs of a new home that will house up to 15 children. Your donation is helping to change someone's life, not only for now but for as long as the house is standing.
My main objective is to raise £32,000 to build a new home.
In addition donations of swimming costumes for girls, musical instruments, toys, sporting equipment all new or secondhand will be welcome.

Whether it be a golf day, a swear box, five a side football tournament, sponsored slim, sponsored row, etc.
Whatever the idea we will help you to pull it together and ensure that it is a success.
Do something worthwhile that you will also get some benefit from achieving the event, this will help to keep you motivated.
If you have children and want to get the school involved, maybe collecting 20p pieces in smarties tubes or just by becoming pen friends with the children of Botswana, it all helps.
