Rhuari is my first miniature longhaired dachshund,he is cream brindle in colour. He was born in June 2004 and was only a matter of hours old when I first saw him and his litter mates, I had gone to see another litter,met his sire and decided I wanted one like him. I had been thinking of starting to breed and after seeing his pedigree he looked like a good place to start, I have learnt an awful lot since then from research and word of mouth from other breeders.

He is a lovely lad, at 13 lbs he is heavier than a mini should be,to get him down to 11 lbs he would look starved as there isn't an ounce of fat but a great deal of muscle on that great physique. He takes a while to warm to strangers which in these days of dognapping is no bad thing but once he knows you he is fine.
