Message from QLL

Hi Ladies

Well I am at last home from hospital and now starts the slow recovery to much better health. Sadly I have been quite seriously ill and have been advised not only that I must not expect to rush back into all the activities I was still able to get involved with before February but it is likely to take many months to get anywhere near the mobility I had before this period of ill health took over my life so drastically

To this effect and with much regret I will have to take a step back as your Queen as there will be very few activities I will for the forseeable future be able to join you in the fun of Red Hatting

I do hope to be able to invite you to join me at home for the occasional lunch when I feel able, watch the website for details

I will be keeping the website as up to date as possible from info that Carol VQ will let me have in due course and as the events are planned 

I will also suggest outings as I receive info but please bear in mind I will not be attending such events 

Carol Duchess of the Dance Vice Queen has with Chris Duchess Vanilla'n'Spice been keeping all going in excellent spirit and hard work

I sincereley hope if you have already done so and those who have not yet attended their events will continue to give them great support by attending the events they are to organise in the next few months 

I will of course always be the 'Founding Queen' of the Ruby Belles, in the interim Carol VQ will take over as Queen and Chris as VQ 

Hopefully things will get more back to normal far quicker than I am currently being advised, in the meantime please keep the spirit of the Ruby Belles high in your hearts and activities 

I am happy to receive visitors if anyone is passing, do all keep in touch and I will too

Well here I am in the  wee small hours finding it hard to sleep in a very hectic ward in Broomfield Hospitall

I long to be home as I feel so much better but I am awaiting a care team too look after me in the first two weeks of getting home, i pray it will be any day thee is only so much hospital food anyone can take

I miss you all and so sorry I am missing so many Ruby Belles playdays

Members of the Ruby Belles attended a Ploughman's Lunch today at the Royal British Legion held by the Ladies Section

All enjoyed a nice afternoon and did well in the Fun Quiz by coming 4th out of quite a few teams...Well Done Ladies 

As Queen LindyLou had visitors Carol Duchess of the Dance V Q hosted the March dinner, a small group but most enjoyable company and excellent food  

Ruby Belles enjoyed a fun evening in support of Farleigh Hospice at the Civic Chelmsford last evening

Abba ~ An evening of the music with much clapping stomping and singing to fill the soul and all in a good cause too
