I have been competing in dog performance events for more than 13 years.  I have been an instructor in obedience and dog agility for over 10 years.  My training methods include positive reinforcement (using motivators such as toys, food, praise, and clicker training).   I have attended numerous obedience and agility seminars from top instructors throughout the country.     I am also a Canine Good Citizenship Evaluator for the American Kennel Club.

My first agility dog was an Australian Shepherd, Kiwi.  She was the first dog in the Charleston area to earn an agility title.  I am currently owned by 3 dogs:  Cutter, a 11-year-old Boykin Spaniel; Matilda, a 8-year-old Aussie, and Opal, a 3-year-old Aussie. Cutter earned one obedience title (CGC) and the following agility titles (AAD, OGC, OJC, EAC, GS-O, JS-O, RE-E).  Cutter was the first Boykin Spaniel to earn an agility title.  Matilda has earned several obedience and rally titles (CGC, CD, RE) and the following agility titles (AX, MXJ, ADCH, TM-Bronze, SACH, JCH, SCH-Silver, RCH-Silver).  Opal has earned two obedience titles (CGC, RN) and the following agility titles (SS, SJ, SSA, AD).   Matilda and Opal also are training to compete in flyball.
