MEAGAN SKELTON , owner of No Bad Dogs near Charlotte, NC

(http://www.tcbagility.com/) is a second-generation dog trainer.  Meagan showed her first dog at the age of six in conformation. She has been actively competing in agility for 10-plus years and is currently competing at the top levels of AKC and USDAA competition with her border collies.  In addition to agility Meagan participates in competitive obedience and is very active in herding.  Meagan has a positive, motivational, and common-sense approach to dog training and has worked with many different breeds of dogs.  She believes the training style depends on the dog.  She thinks the method to choose is the one that works best with that particular dog’s personality and behavior, as well as the ability and desires of the dog’s owner.  In addition to agility Meagan has worked with dog-to-dog aggression, dog-to-people aggression, food, toy, territory possession issues, basic obedience and behavior modification.

In addition to her dog pursuits, which take up most of her time, Meagan enjoys traveling, reading and spending time on her sheep farm with her husband.
