Marriage - A wonderful institution
First Experience
When: -  22nd December, 1962
Where: -  St, Mary's Cathedral, Darwin
To Whom:-  Robin Duntorn Champion

We were married at 3pm by Fr. Aubrey Collins.
Our attendants were Jenny McGinn, a fellow nurse and  Peter Hayward, a fellow bike rider for Rob.
We continued to live in Darwin for just 3 months before moving to Perth to be near Rob's family.
Initially we came to Perth for 6 months, intending to move over to New South Wales to be near my family, but, after 44 years, I am still here!  Or perhaps I should say I am back here.
Rob and I  lived in Darwin, Warbrook,  Perth, Koolyanobbing, Muchea, and Jurien Bay,
We had 3 children Robyn, Richard and Matthew.
We were married for 19 years.
Second Attempt
2nd January 1988 What a wonderful day!
Graham and I became man and wife.
Little did we know the amazing journey that was ahead of us.
We were married at the Warwick Church of Christ by Rev. Graham Carslake.
Gra Best man was Don Wiltshire, our Royal Ranger Senior Commander, Groomsman was son Richard.
My Matron of honour was Gloria Clarke as special friend from church.  Also attended by daughter Robyn.
It was a wonderful day, with family coming from as far away as New South Wales.
We had a small reception at my sister Bev's home.
Keith Lehmann was the MC and Matt and Mark (my nephew) did a wonderful job of decorating our car - the act was caught by the photographer on video.
We only had a weekend honeymoon then but in April, thanks to my family in New South Wales, when Gra got his holidays, we drove over the Nullabor to visit them so they could all meet him.
Finally she's all mine!
