Born and brought up on the beautiful Isle of Arran in Scotland, where my ancestry dates back to at least the 17th Century on both sides of my family.
Since childhood I've loved to draw and be creative but I decided at School not to continue with art, taking business studies instead. Not knowing what to do with my life at the age of 16, I took the opportunity to Au-pair in Copenhagen, the most amazing time of my life, filled with culture, museums and galleries galore, where my interest for photography began.
On returning to Scotland a year later I started a 6 month Multi Media Computing course at Ayr College, which incorporated developing my own photography. I then worked as a Personal Assistant in a Design & Advertising Agency fuelling my interests creatively again. Before returning to Arran at the age of 21 I Au-paired again in Copenhagen for a further 6 months for the same family I worked for when I was 16.
Having always been passionate about Arran and it’s breathtaking scenery I take my camera on my many wonderful walks.
I love being able to tell a story about every picture I capture and because I have a terrible memory they will always be memories for me, it's a bonus if others can appreciate them to.
Thank you as always for visiting my website.
