In early October a group of keen Strath pony clubbers visited the Adelaide Mounted Police Barracks. They got to meet some of the police officers and their horses, see where the horses live and even got to see a baby police horse (even though it was the wrong colour...) It was a great day for all who attended!!

The photo clearly shows what "top PC eventers" do whilst not riding!
Nosca Fella & Danni Hampton were once again on top form almost winning this grade but were unfortunately eliminated due to a technical fault. 

PC5:  Junction Park Bundaberg & Chloe Murdoch again rode HC - only one refusal on the SJ and clear on XC (the jumps Chloe wanted to jump that is!)

AL4:  Plain n' Fancy & Tracy Murdoch 12th after dressage, clear SJ but unfortunately got the big E after XC when Tracy stacked in at "the butts" and decided to retire Fab due to a difference of opinion as to who was in charge.

Clear SJ and XC - very close time on the XC too.
This was Cathy's second ODE and 7th is a brilliant achievement!

 Junction Park Bundaberg & Chloe Murdoch
Riding HC (hors concours meaning without competition) as they are a new combination and unqualified.  Went good over the cross country and jumped what Chloe wanted to in Show Jumping......

Plain n' Fancy & Tracy Murdoch (10th place)
Clear XC (optimum time 7.21 - time taken 6.21 - oops!). 4 penalties SJ - rider error! 

Did I leave out Dresage?  Yip, well we can all improve our flatwork!
