Chime is Abbi's daughter from the Music litter born April 28, 2005.  She is very busy going to agility classes, doing obedience, field work, and hunting with Tom.  She's a sweet and quiet little girl, much different than her mother.  She reminds us so much of Piper.
Chime is the reason we have the Music Litter theme.  I love wind chimes and when Kathy from Florida was getting a Gaylan's pup from the summer litters of 2004, she was thinking she might be getting a female pup.  She had picked out the name Chime.  When she found out she was getting a male pup, who is now cute Slider, she was gracious enough to let me have the name Chime for my future Gaylan's pup.  So the Music Litter theme was developed.

Chime was injured in March 2007, when she slipped in the snow, tearing her groin muscle and sliding her into a sharp broken branch on a tree.  The tree branch went into her abdomen and 3+ hours of surgery miraculously saved her life.  She has healed up nicely from the surgery, but she was out of commission for quite a while due to the pulled/torn groin muscle.  She still has some residual effects from the torn groin muscle and so has had a little trouble with her weave poles.
She has been back doing her activities again and finished eight titles in three months in 2008, her Novice Agility, Novice Jumpers, her Performance agility titles in Standard, Jumpers, Snooker, and Relay in USDAA, and her Junior Hunter, and getting her CCA (Certificate of Conformation Assessment) from the GRCA!!!  What a versatile little girl and she's so darn cute!
Recently she had some complications from the first surgery from scar tissue pinching  off her ureter, damaging her left kidney.  She had surgery to remove the damaged kidney and she is doing great.  We are so thankful she was able to become a mommy and look foward to following her pups in the future.

Chime finished her CD title Nov/Dec 2009 with two first places and a 2nd place, with a 197, 196 1/2, and 195.
