Hi all things are starting to lift with regard to restrictions so for us we are almost back to completely normal with a few rules to live with.

Below is a brief breakdown of the latest advise from Qld Health

COVID Safe Frame work still applies, so this means –

  1. maintaining social distancing (1.5m separation and limit to 1 person per 2 square meters inside)
  2. hygiene (washing hands and sanitising)
  3. cleaning (wipe down used benches, toilets etc.)
  4. cover coughs, sneezes and no spitting
  5. get tested if showing symptoms and isolate until cleared

  Food and indoor

Indoor spaces measuring less than 200 square metres can have up to 1 person per 2 square metres and no more than 50 patrons at a time .

Indoor spaces measuring 200 square metres or more can have up to 1 person per 4 square metres.

Outdoor spaces can have no more than 1 person per 2 square metre

Outdoor event

From 1am on 1 December 2020 , up to 1,500 people can attend outdoor events that have a COVID Safe Checklist, subject to public health advice.

Events with fewer than 500 people don’t need their ‘COVID Safe’ plans approved.

Local public health units must approve ‘COVID Safe plans’ of events with between 500 and 10,000 people.

The Queensland Chief Health Officer must approve ‘COVID Safe’ plans of events with over 10,000 people

Note - There is a maximum $4,003 fine or up to 6 months in prison for anyone who breaches public health orders.
