Friday Foundations

Big Bible Questions

This year during the Friday Foundations hour (9:30- 10:30) kids age 4-12 will be going through a study called "Big Bible Questions." Each week we'll look to God's Word to answer some BIG questions and as we go through the questions together we'll learn more about what it means to live as a Christian.

When you arrive for "Big Bible Questions," you'll be directed to one of 4 groups for an opening activity...
(1) Behind the Scenes- -  this group prepares a skit based on the passage for the week to be presented later during the session
(2) And the Answer is- - this group plays review games to help them remember the questions and answers from previous weeks.
(3) Remember Me- - this group works on learning one of the verses for the month and they're always to ones to make up motions for our verse songs
(4) The B-I-B-L-E- - this groups plays a game to help them remember the books of the Bible

After the opening activities, we spend some time together focusing on the big questions for the week and diving into the Bible to find the answers. We finish our time together each week by singing our memory verse songs.

To review the questions at home, print out a set of Big Bible Question Flash cards. Just print double sided, cut into cards and quiz your family. This first set of cards covers all the BIG questions we asked and answered from September 2011 through January 2012.
