We have made this website so that you can share our lives, see our pictures and leave a message in our guestbook. Hopefully you will enjoy our dogs as much as we do. Ailesbury Kennels was founded by my parents  Fred and  Ann Cuthbert over Fifty years ago. My husband Colin and I are delighted to be able to carry on with this very successful kennel name. Over the years we have had many champion's at our kennel in breeds such as Afghan Hounds, Borzoi's, Old English Sheepdog's, Skye Terrier's, Deerhound's and Whippets of course.
At the age of seven my parent's bought me my first Whippet 'Ailesbury Peach Blossom' and I have had a Whippet around the house ever since. As a founder member of the Junior Handler's Assoc. in Ireland I have enjoyed many year's around the breed ring's as well as taking part in junior handling. In the early eighty's I was runner up junior handler of the year with my Whippet 'Shillelagh Lady Ashe', It only seem's like yesterday. After many year's in the breed we are delighted to be the very proud owner's of Ireland's top winning Whippet for the past four year's GB. Ir. and Int. Ch. Collooney He's The One. 'Brad' has also been top sight hound for two year's and was runner up at the Irish Show Dog Of The Year final '07. 'Brad' also has three CC's ,two with with Best of Breed and three reserve CC's. One of his reserve CC's being at Cruts '09. 'Brad's' son 'Indy' also made a little bit of history  by becoming the very first IKC junior champion of champion's.
 We have had so much fun over the year's with our dog's and we are looking forward to many more.  We hope you enjoy our site!!
