WARNING AGAINST ITALIEN HANDLER
I allmost lost my topdog Victor, because of a crocked italien handler Nicola Mille and the italien kennel dell Antico cerberus, he works together with!
My dog is back safe now, but it took me many month to get him back, and he is a misserable health/condition.
The handler and the kennel have used my male for breeding 4 times, but I only sighned for 1 breeding. the rest they have sighned themselfe. And they did not pay for those breedings. Puppies are for sale on facebook..
Let this story be a warning to all others, that concider to send there dog to a handler in anoughter country. Be sure that you know the person, and dont make the same mistake as I did. Be sure someone can check up on your dog on a regulary basis.
THIS IS THE STORY
On many shows during the last 6 years, I se this Italien handler, on many of the big shows. So I thought this was a top corso person.
IN january 2008 the handler and I, talk at a triple show in Slovenia, and we agree that I send my 2 best dogs to his place in Italy, for italien shows only. My big dream is that my black male will be italien workingchampion. The price for this was extreme, but I was willing to sacrifise everything, for the italien shows.
the agreement was that victor should stay in italy for 3-5 month. he handler told me that it was time enough for victor to become italien workingchampion.
As soon as the dogs arrive in Italy, I start to get emails with show programes for shows in a lot of other countrys than Italy. I say no to all those shows, but the handler still takes my dogs there, and charge me 350-450 euro pr dog/pr show.
I take my female Donna home, after the worlddogshow 2008. At that point she was in Italy for 6 month, and never went to any italien show!
first in december 2008, my black male Victor go to his first italien show.
In october the italien kennel ask me to be there scandinavien coworker. Afcouse I get very proud when they ask, since this kennel is one of the first ones in Italy. But when I visit the kennel in dec 2008, I was chocked to se the surcumstances the dogs was living under at the kennel. In my country the animal velfare control would have shut down the place, and take the owner to trial.Puppies was remooved from there mother way to young, and many dogs had bad, bad problems with there eyes, because of the draft in the stable where they live. they lived in small concret rooms, like cows. nothing to sleep on, nothing in the room but concrete.
I made photos afcouse to proove this.
December 2008 when I visited Italy, was the last time I se Victor before I got him back home. He did not live in the stable on that kennel, the handler went to get him by car. And at this point, Victor was fine.
in february 2009 the handler wants me to sell victor to one of his clients. I say no, and the price goes up and up. the handler come to my home and keep asking me to sell my dog. Now the price is more than I make in a year. the handler tells me that my dog will get a much better life in his clients home. So I tell him to make a direct contact to his client, and then I will concider. But the handler refuse to give me name and telephone number for the client.
after this, the situation gets very strange. allmost no communication, untill in april when the handler tell me to come and take my dog. Victor still needs 3 more CAC from italy so I say no, but the handler dont care.
And suddently he wants me to pay 4000 euro before I can get my dog back. I have made all monthly payments by bank, so I have recieds for everything I payed to the handler, so I could document that I shouldnt give any money at all.
the handler and the woman who own the italien kennel, had used my male for breedings. I only sighned for 1 breeding, but there has been puppies for sale, from 4 litters after my male. And the handler/the kennelowner refuse to pay for the breedings..
there are more puppies for sale from this kennel, but they write that some other dog is the father. I can se for sure, that some of those puppies are after victor, since he produce copyes of him selfe in every litter. and that other male do not look like victor at all.
So my lawyer send all contracts and documentations to the handler and the italien woman, and ask them to return my dog and pay the money for breeding. They refuse, so the lawyer write, that he will go to FCI, Italien police, italien kennelclub and the italien special corso club, with this case.
In the end of july 2009, I can finally get Victor home.
Victors teath was black/dark green and all the small teath is broken off. the vet say this often comes from a dog in a cage, trying to get out by pulling in the metal with his teath.
He had lost 10 kg. all muscles was gone so his body couldnt hold its own waight, and the bones in his front feet has fallen down.
his ears was badly infectet and allso had fungus in them. this problem is still not over
his penis was so infected, that it looked like a ballon, and it was bleeding. it is still not 100% ok
he had fungus in his face(it was totally swollen) so he had problems eating, and fungus on his testicles, so they lost all hair.
something happend to his back. It might have been someone kicked his back, or to long time in a small cage, so the spinal was twisted. the vet cant say for sure, wich one it is
He have been in a lot of fights, and his whole body is full of scars
He have big wunts on his legs, from sleeping on concrete floor.
something happend to his back legs/back feets. it looks like he got stucked in something, that left 3x8cm identic scars on his leg, and both backfeets have been stucked in something. you know, when a black dog gets injured, white hair grows out in the scar. this is how we can se what happend
I have made photos of everything for the trial, and I will not give up untill I have stopped these people, from ever hurt any dog again.
Victor is better today, but there is a long way to go before he will get back in his old shape. And I cant do anything about his teath, or front feets. We dont know yet, if his back will ever get well again.
I will post updates when there is development in this matter eighter from the police or the kennelclubs.
The handler refuced to give me Victors show papers, his show prices, CAC and CACIB. I didnt even get his water and food bowls back, or his leach and collar. So these days im calling/writing to all the kennelclubs where Victor won a show, to get his papers
