The Tuscan hills where our trekking operation is based, provide one of the most fascinating and uncontaminated landscapes in all of Italy. Bordering on the Mugello region – a harsh, wild land, overlooked by the towering nearby Apennine mountains – the vineyards slope gently down towards the lush Valdisieve valley eroded by the River Sieve. The stables are bordered by centuries-old chestnut and cypress woods and "historical" terraced olive groves, relics of an ancient form of agriculture, still so much alive in the air here.
