Our horses are "happy horses ".
Our much loved horses live out in established herds during the summer and the winter.
We believe that it is important for our horse’s mental and physical well-being that they get time to 'be a horse'. They need time to play, groom, roll and interact with other horses at some point during every day - this is the horses way of relaxing.
W e do not keep our horses stabled 24/7 for convenience, they live as close to nature as is practical and this is what makes them happy, relaxed and a pleasure to handle and ride.
Piu
Maremmano
A gentle giant at nearly 18hh, Piu is only 5, but exceptionally quiet and comfortable to ride.
Taribo
3/4 Arabian.
Surefooted like a mountain goat, Taribo is a brave and quick ride, and extremely comfortable to ride over distances.
Jasmine.
Pure Arabian Mare.
Delicate and pretty, little Jasmine is sweet natured and quick on her feet. At only 14.3hh, she is an excellent ladies mount, but is also a strong little horse, often taking the role as guide horse with Paolo on our long distance rides.
Navarro.
Sardinian Horse.
Navarro is the energetic show off amongst our team. Beautiful to watch, with a high trot and forward canter, he is Paolos favourite guiding horse.

Maestro is a soft, elegant horse, who is happy taking it easy at the back, or leading the trek up front, showing off his high carriage-style walk He is a
combination of courage, strength, ability, temperament, and intelligence.
Brena.
Noric x mare
By far our most popular horse, Brena with her striking markings and gentle face is only 5 years old. Hailing from a farm in Slovenia, where she was raised by hand and broken in simply by "putting kids on her back" she is a gorgeous soul, that adores attention and loves her food!
SYRIA
Camargue Mare. 14.2hh.
Syria is a sensitive and soft little mare, with a brave and willing nature.
Lipizzan x gelding.16.h
Dali with his glistening dark bay coat, has taken the best of his TB mother and Lipizzaner father. Both althletic and gentle, he has an elegance unmatched in our stable. Extremely sensitive, he prefers humans to horses, and is often on the outskirts of the herd by his own choice. Dali is still finishing his training, but is a fabulous gelding for experienced, sympathetic riders.
Stellina. 15.2hh. Italian saddlebred
Stellina also joined our team this year, she is a young mare, but learning fast. She works in the back or up front very happily, and whilst she never seems to tire, she is extremely soft and easy to ride on the trail.
Dubbio
Mixed breed
Far from sluggish, Dubbio is the perfect type of trekking horse. Willing and free moving, but with the most laid back nature ever. This is a horse that doesnt even lift his head when a deer leaps out in front of him.. a fabulous ride!
