"Rocky's owner owned Rocky, his full litter brother and a couple daschunds. The owner decided when it was time for him to move that he didn't want to take Rocky or his brother with him, so he took Rockys brother to the vet and had him put to sleep. Someone stopped his second trip to the vets which was to involve Rocky. Luckily Rocky ended up with us in Rescue. Although he was already old he was in good health. I asked Jill and Scott to foster Rocky for what ever little time he may have left. Sadly Rocky died just this year, however, he had 2.5 wonderful years with Jill and Scott.
"Max" - his past owners moved from the east here to Fl with their two Goldens. When they arrived they decided the Goldens didnt fit their Florida life style. We got both Max and his sister into rescue. Max was heartworm postive, we treated him but he had a really hard time with the treatment. We watched over him diligently and he came through his treatment fine and and now resides at Ellen and Johns house where he's been Johns best bud ever since.
