UPDATE:

Our group had a WONDERFUL time in Cedar Key!!  We took over the Gulf Side Motel on Friday. 8 rooms and 10 dogs.

We were right on the ocean watching the dolphin swim. On Friday night we went to the host hotel and had a cook out and almost all of us won raffle baskets. Except Capt. John, that will teach him to put all of his tickets in 3 baskets!

On Saturday morning, Ralph and Kay Krieger cooked us the best breakfast and we had a wonderful time with the dogs running free under our pavillion at the hotel. Then we left for the boat ride to the island were some 40 dogs were playing in the ocean!

We went back to our hotel and gave all the dogs a bath and a nap. Later that evening, we dressed our dogs in hawiian shirts and lea's, we joined everyone else in the parade. Everyone was waiting for us, waving and taking pictures.

We stroll right into the restaurant called Cocoanuts and out to the deck where we all had dinner! They served the dogs water!

Here is a website where you can find all the photos from the weekend. You will be able to pick out our group. Most captioning says CGRR.

**Update**

Wow, what a wonderful time we all had at Pet Supermarket on Saturday.  The foster dogs got to be greeters and get more pets and praise than they've ever had!

Gracie came for a few minutes, before it all became overwhelming to her, but that's a BIG improvement for this puppy mill dog!

Murphy (aka: Opie) came out to show off his new limbs and let everyone see how great he's doing.

Thank you again for all the workers, foster dogs and those that donated.  Without all your help our rescue could not move forward like it does!

We were at Pet SuperMarket today and had some of the available dogs with us.  We want to say thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make this happen.

It was so nice meeting all of the great people that stopped by to visit the rescues, make a donation and talk to us!

We were pleasantly surprised to have some of the rescues from the past stop by to say Hi!

At the end of the day we were able to raise a good amount of money towards Opie's surgeries and also hand out a lot of CGRR cards for hopefully more contacts and getting the word out about those we currently have available!

THANK YOU ALL THAT HELPED!!!
