The site above is available to the outside world. Free of charge.
It processes about 35.000 articles per day. And the public site has about 1 million hits a day. It has today about
30.000 visitors per day. A figure which increases all the time.
Six important points about EMM:
1. It monitors the on-line media
every ten minutes - around the clock and seven days a week
2. The monitoring is
automatic based on words and sentences. Mistakes can consequently appear. But the system is so well developed now, that they are fairly rare
3. If you want to
see an article in full you just click on the headline - and you have it on your screen
4. You can in the left column
ask for free and automatic e-mails, when news occur in areas of your special interest
5. The
EMM News Explorer (available in the top of the site) gives a News Analysis over time
6. EMM also generates
RSS feeds from every page making it possible to use the service through modern phones too.
6. The EMM service runs in all
22 official languages of the EU (click on the drop-down box in the upper right corner)
Why is EMM important for "Communicating Better":
Because you at all times are fully up-to-date with what is happening. And you can also monitor the effect of your own communication in real time.
