
Radio Frequency Policy
Confederation Marine Modellers and visitors are required to follow this frequency policy and only FCC designated surface freqencies are permitted

Confederation Marine Modellers use 27MHz and 75MHz radio channels for boating, no 72Mhz frequency are permitted. The new type radios 2.4 GHz are permitted.
At all club funtions where the frequency board is available you must have a frequency pin attached to your transmitter antenna with the channel/frequency that corresponds to your transmitter to in order turn on your transmitter.
If the frequency pin that corresponds to your channel/frequency is not on thisĀ board you do not have permission to turn on your transmitter. You must not turn on your transmitter until the correct frequency pin is in your possession.
Before turning on your transmitter please check that no one else has there transmitter turned on. This you must do as a safety precaution.
When you are finished running turn off your transmitter and return the frequency pin to the board
As a further safety protection the club asks every person to have a protection of some type on the end of their antenna, if you do not have any ask a member and we will find one that can be used
