Keith Espin - Musical Director
Keith started his life in banding as a 7 year old, being sent off by his Mother and Grandmother to learn to play a cornet at Rushden Town Band Club. 

Keith’s personal philosophy about playing in any musical ensemble is quite simple:

 

We play because we enjoy it.

We want to play to the best of our ability.

We play in the spirit of the group activity – team-work is paramount.

We want to improve, as individual instrumentalists and as a band.

The band is lucky to be supported by so many families and friends of the players.  The parents of the younger members spend a great deal of their time providing a 'taxi' service; taking their children to rehearsals and concerts and they also come in very handy for taking photos or holding collection tins for when we go carolling.
