First off, Ty from the Stealers is ok, but he does have a fracture in his elbow. We continue to wish him the best and a speedy recovery.
I knew Friday night what was going to happen on Saturday because of the look in all of my Texan’s eyes when they showed up for our Walk-thru.
Saturday was much of the same, but with a bit of Swagger along with it. The Stealers had no chance as we were well prepared for everything they had to offer and then some. The entire game it was a struggle for them just to get a first down and it was at a cost with the way our Texans were hitting.
This entire season has been an incredible success with the way we started in the summer to the way we finished on Saturday.
There was not a single Texan that did not have a contribution to the success of this Texan Team and that folks is a first for us.
12 points is what our Defense gave up in an entire 10 Game Season while our Offense lit up the Scoreboard ALL Season.
Practice this week will be only on Thursday only 6 - 7:30 pm at the Baseball Fields.
The Texans have earned a well deserved rest for their efforts Saturday.

In all the years that I have been a Coach in TCYFA and it has been a long time since my 24 year old was playing. Never have I had all the parents that I have with this unit that 100% are sold on what this Texan Team is about and what we are trying to accomplish.
I am so proud of all 14 of these Texans and honestly this is the first time I have said that about any Team we have had!
