Materials and construction

Cib's cowboy leatherwork specializes in fully hand made leather gun belts, holsters, ammunition pouches, saddle bags, frontier trappings and leather cowboy accoutrements for cowboy action shooting competitors and their friends. This is a small custom leatherwork shop which does not carry a large commercial inventory, if you want a quick mass produced product, this is not the place for you, If you want something cheap and plain, this is not the place for you, if you do not want to wait then again this is not the place for you.

But if you want a hand made custom product to your design or from an idea, using only the best materials, then this may be the place for you. Your orders will be finished as soon as is possible, but they will not be rushed just to meet a deadline. If you want a rush order or want to jump the line. go somewhere else. All work is performed by hand using only the best quality Wickett & Craig Skirting and Carving leather. All items are hand stitched and except for some base products, use Barbours Waxed Irish linen thread. While orders for unlined belts, holsters and Cartridge belts will be taken, unless otherwise specified quotes are given for fully lined gun belts and holsters.

I do not carry commercial quantities of stock as all items made are from a direct order placed by a client.


Patterns
Where possible each order commences with a made to measure pattern to suit the clients measurements and indiviual requirements. This can sometimes take a number of pattern cuts, designs modifications and re-measurements or fittings, especially for complex designs, to ensure that the final gun rig is fitted to the client and their individual shooting style.

Orders for items such as Buscadero gunrigs, Batwing chaps or ladies multi buckle Bronco belts will not commence until full measurement of the client has been completed in person, as measurements supplied over the phone by a client can not ensure a correct fit to OUR standard. 

 

Delivery time
Subject to workload, complexity of the item ordered and availabilty of materials, orders are targeted for a 5 week delivery from time of order. But orders will not be rushed so a delivery timeframe may be longer than first indicated when the order was placed.

Price List
As all items are custom made to order to an individuals own specifications it is impossible to give set prices for items.

Basic single colour fully lined tapered belt, with 2 plain double strong side lined single loop holsters to suit Ruger Vaquero - $600
 
'Ranger' style lined belt with 2 unlined 'mexican style' loop holsters starting from - $550. extra for  'money belt' design with full bullet loop setup or Cheyenne style holsters with sewn toe plugs

Plain lined shotgun/cartridge belt setup for 6 double 12 gauge loops and 6 pistol/rifle cartridge loops - starting at $200

Belt cartridge pouches with snap or "J" front closure - starting from $60

Cowboy shooters saddle bag, single colour without stamping or embelishments from  POA
