How Much: $75 per student
Who: Campers age 8-18Cost: $75.00 per camper
Do I have to own a horse? No, a limited number of schooling horses are available.
Do I have to belong to 4-H: No
Can I leave my horse each day instead of trailering him back and forth? Yes, stalls will be available at the livestock barn for $15 for the week.

Dixie Thunder Day Camp is a 4-H sponsored camp that invites boys and girls ages 8-18 to come and learn more about horses and riding. Day Camp is open to all levels of riders from beginner to advanced. Students will be grouped according to their riding experience. We invite campers to bring their own horses, but for campers who do not own a horse a limited number of schooling horses will be available for use.
In addition to riding the campers will have the opportunity to participate in several other activities including arts and crafts, hippology, games, and horse management.
