Dog Grooming services
A bit about my grooming service

I started Doggie Dial-Emma's up nearly five years ago, after working in my parents Dry-Cleaners for nearly eleven years I felt it was about time for a change.  Previous to the dog grooming I ran puppy socialisation and beginner dog training classes using clicker training, which I really enjoyed, but sadly had to give up once I got the grooming going through lack of time.

I have passed several courses in dog behaviour and have a dog first aid certificate.  My grooming training was with Melanie Winters-Holmes at The Dog Studio in Oxfordshire.  Melanie is one of the top groomers in the country and represents England in international grooming competitions.

My main priority when your dogs are in my care is that they are happy, for this reason I rarely crate dogs, but allow them to have the room to play and interact with each other, a lot of the dogs can't wait to come in to meet their friends.

Doggie Dial-Emma's operates from converted stables, which although isn't exactly glamerous, offers a setting that dogs feel comfortable with as opposed to a sterile looking environment like a veterinary surgery, which obviously stresses dogs.  This also allows me the space to be able to groom my favourite types of dogs - large and giant breeds, with a walk-in shower tray, power blaster and electric table, I am fully kitted out to cope with their needs.

Kind and gentle handling is always used throughout their time with me and I have always got some nice tasty tidbits to reward good behaviour, or bribe as the case  may be!!

I cater for all breeds and types of dogs and offer clipping, hand-stripping, nail & ear care or just a good bath brush and tidy.  I also offer microchipping at a very reasonable price, which considering the amount of dognapping going on, I feel should be a necessity for all dogs.

My own two dogs come to work with me and are always ready to help settle in new dogs.
