Alan Babcock is a licenced butcher/meat cuttter and Dresden Meat Packers sells only government inspected meat products.  The long established abattoir maintains the highest standards possible and is in complete compliance with all government regulations. Michelle has successfully completed many food handling courses.  When not busy with their business Alan and Michelle have two very active children Megan and Jordan, who help make sure that their mom and dad always have plenty of things to do.

We've been serving Dresden and Chatham-Kent, as well as Lambton County residents since 1972. We're proud of our excellent customer service and delighted by all positive comments directed toward our new
meat market butcher shop. Thank you for your overwhelming response to our new addition. 

Michelle Babcock is owner/operator of Dresden Meat Packers and has been very invloved with the New store front and retail Butcher Shop.

The husband and wife team owners of Dresden Meat Packers have given time and attention to every detail for their new addition. It was our 35th Anniversary Year, said Michelle Babcock and we wanted to do something very special to serve our growing customer base better. This brand new, fresh and fresh frozen, retail butcher shopper is just what we were looking for, and we know our customers will love the expanded product line and superior customer service.

The husband and wife team of Alan and Michelle Babcock bought the business from Alan's dad Don Babcock 10 years this year.

Chris Vanderiviere is a Meat Cutter/Butcher at Dresden Meat Packers

Chris Vanderiviere is an 8 year staff member at Dresden Meat Packers, and one of the most experienced butcher/meat cutters in the trade, with over 20 years experience. Chris lives with his wife Shirley and their 14 year old son Kory in Chatham. Chris notes that the changes made at Dresden Meat Packers are truly outstanding. Our retail butcher shop customers are going to love the convenience of the new store addition, as well as the new display cases for ease of shopping. Jim Stanley is Dresden Meat Packers Licenced Butcher/Meat Cutter

   Jim Stanley is five year member of the Dresden Meat Packers team and is a well experienced meat cutter/butcher. Married and residing in Wallaceburg. Jim and his wife Niki have one sone Nicolas. 
   Jim is pleased the new retail butcher shop is now opened to the public. Chatham-Kent certainly needs a modern fresh and frozen meat retail butcher shop. Now that we are open, " I just know the public will respond very positively to our new facility" said Jim.
