Dresden Pro Hardware owner/operator Ron Sturgis worked for previous owner John McKay for 10 years before buying the business from McKay. John then worked for Ron, reversing their roles as owners. The key point they easily agreed to was that "the customer comes first" and is the reason for our being in business. In 2003 Ron built his new store, with expanded inventory and four times the floor space. The new Dresden Pro location, simply said has been a huge success. " Our ever growing customer base love the fact that we are not a big box store. We provide the kind of personalized service, that only a small town merchant can truly provide, notes owner Ron Sturgis."

JASON McDONALD DRESDSEN PRO STORE MANAGER
Jason McDonald is Store Manager at Dresden Pro and a long time associate of owner Ron Sturgis. It hard to imagine but Jason has been part of Dresden Hardware family since 1992. "Fifteen years and it's been great" notes Jason. I love the hardware business, it's interesting, challenging and I get to meet and serve some pretty terrific customers. Jason and his wife Colleen have three boys and live in Wabash. When asked if he had a favorite hobby, Jason quickly responded yes, "my three sons" Nuff said.

EDNA KUCERA DRESDEN PRO HARDWARE ''CSR"
Edna Kucera is a Customer Service Representative at Dresden Pro Hardware and has been for the past 5 years. " I worked at the old downtown store for one year before moving to the new location said Edna" and we have so much more to offer at our Lindsley Street location. Our
customers really like the idea of the bigger selection, wide shopping spaces and low everyday prices. Edna's family includes husband Martin, their two sons and family with 4 grandchildren. Shoppers may remember Edna from her previous retail stints at Steadman's and Weese Footwear.

CHRIS DeBURGER DRESDEN PRO HARDWARE "CSR"
Chris DeBurger has been a Customer Service Representative at Dresden Pro Hardware for less than a year. Prior to that Chris worked at a big box store in Chatham. For Chris, it's wonderful to be at Dresden Pro and to be given the opportunity to provide excellent service for customers. "We're allowed as much time as it takes" says Chris to provide answers and service and product for our customers. That was not the case at my previous job. Chris is a life long Dresden resident and counts spending time with friends as his favorite passtime.

MIKE WILSON PRO HARDWARE "'PART TIMER"
Mike is relatively new with the Dresden Pro Hardware Team and spends his part time hours unloading trucks and stocking shelves as well as helping customers locate product in the rather large hardware store.
Mike Wilson is a member of our part time crew and always anxious to help with customer service.

JESSICA GLASGOW DRESDEN PRO HARDWARE "PART TIMER"
Jessica Glasgow is now part of the Pro Hardware Team as a after school and weekends part time Customer Service Rep. "It' amazing the product knowlege I've gained working here during the past few months" said Jessica. It's hard work at times unloading trucks and stocking shelves, but the time spent helping customers makes it all worthwhile.
"My sister Alissa had this job for four years, and she guaranteed me that I would love the work, the rest of the Pro Team and customers, and you know what, I do."
Alissa Glasgow is the senior member of our part time crew and values the opportunity to provide excellence in customer service.

JANICE BEE - PRO HARDWARE'S BOOKKEEPER
Janice Bee is an avid golfer, and that may explain why she prefers to work the bookkeeping duties three days a week at Dresden Pro Hardware. Of course a major part of her duties including preparing payroll, paying suppliers, invoicing and tracking product being shipped from Pro Hardware and other suppliers.
Janice is married to local farmer Ken Bee and they have three daughters. You also find Janice stepping up to help with customer service as needed. Janice (Ron's sister) has been with Dresden Pro Hardware for 12 years.
