Whats the Goss...

Hi Everyone,

I Hope you are enjoying your break. I along with Llona have been finalizing accounts and sending out thank you letters to all those who helped make this great 3 day event that we did over Easter a success.

From the emails and phone calls I received after Easter Sunday I could be in no doubt that we pulled it off and the whole club should be really proud of that.

Our guest artists were all amazing and the standard of entertainment right through to the end of the weekend was excellent and all who came received great value for their money.

The only disappointing thing for me was the let down that we received from our Mayor and Council members.

The support that we received from Kara-Mia Rogers and Nina Gobie has helped make up for that and I thank them whole heartedly.

I am off on holiday for a couple of weeks and so looking forward to a break.

Our pending gig at the RSA for the Women`s section has been cancelled so we can relax even more before we come back to Club with the AGM in the forefront of our minds.

I do know that there are going to be vacancies on Committee including my Job. This year I am going to concentrate on my Holiday Home business and most of this takes place on weekends.

Thank you so much everyone for the hard work and commitment that you have given to the club over the past 12 months.
