SimpleSite received a Red Herring Global Award last night in Los Angeles, USA. Our CEO, Morten Elk, represented the company at the ceremony after a two day conference, where he presented the company’s business strategy to international investors and Industry experts.
As the only Danish company among the world’s 100 leading IT companies, SimpleSite participated in this year’s Red Herring Global award. The participants had been selected among more than a thousand tech companies around the world.

Dan Buhr is SimpleSite’s new Full Stack
Developer. Dan joins the Development team and will use
his technical skills to develop the next generation of
our product – both frontend and backend.
Dan previously worked as a consultant for a wide
range of companies and has a great passion for
‘elegant’ algorithms and architecture.

Marco Calabrese is SimpleSite’s new Frontend
Developer. Marco joins the development team where he will
make use of his engineering skills to build the next
generation of the SimpleSite product.
Marco has worked for several successful startups and
helps small startups with their technology stack.
SimpleSite is one of the winners of the “2015 Red
Herring 100 Europe Award.” CEO Morten Elk just travelled to
Amsterdam to give a presentation and receive the prize.
Since 1996, the Red Herring award has recognized the 100
most promising start-ups from around the world. The Red
Herring Europe Award is given to the top 100 private
cutting-edge companies in the European region.
Winning the award is a fantastic achievement. It shows
that SimpleSite’s exceptional growth has not gone
unnoticed in the international business world, and we are
all very proud to be part of this triumph.
Joen Sindholt is SimpleSite’s new Full Stack
Developer. Joen will work on most areas of the product such
as API’s, Frontends and Backends.
Joen has previously worked 10 years as a web developer
building a wide variety of web solutions. In many of these
projects Joen has had the role of team lead with
responsibility for all technical aspects.
Dmitry Kozhemyakin is SimpleSite’s new UX Designer.
Dmitry will join our Product development & Communications
team and work hard on developing the design and interface
of our product.
Dmitry started crafting interfaces and websites more
than a decade ago. He has worked for startups, ad agencies
and consulted several businesses on design and development
Santi Roc Castells is SimpleSite’s new Online
Marketing Coordinator. Santi is a recent graduate with a
MSc in Economic and Business Administration and will join
our Sales & Marketing department and will be working on
optimizing our online marketing channels such as Google and
Facebook. Furthermore Santi will work on maintaining and
developing our affiliate network.
Michael Svendsen is SimpleSite’s new Chief
Architect and Head of Development. Michael will work to
secure progress in product development and designing a
scalable architecture for accepting millions of new

industry with a special focus on online fraud detection.
Michael was co-founder of a large scale search engine
company that provided high-end document search solutions to
intranets and websites.
Michelle is a well-known member of the SimpleSite Team
as she has been doing our Dutch customer support for 4
years. Now she feels it’s time for new challenges and has
taken on the task of securing and developing our company’s
organic growth and Search Engine Optimization.
Michelle holds an academic degree in Multimedia Design,
as well as a Bachelor and Master degree in Communication
Studies. The technical and creative competences she has
gained through her education and experience at SimpleSite
make her well-prepared for the task of increasing our

SimpleSite business. We would like to exchange experience
and ideas with others who are also interested in how to
create growth in an online business. This is why we have
launched Nordic Growth Hackers. Nordic Growth Hackers will
host four events a year, where we invite others to join us

cases. The first event will be on the 1st October 2014 and

Christian Stautz is the most recent addition to the

Christian is a recent graduate in Information Technology
from the IT University of Copenhagen and has worked with
several different technologies in both the private and

Morten Elk (CEO) will be giving a presentation on the
20th September at the ITB Top Executive Conference. The
conference focuses on new advances in IT management,
business and technology and will include presentations from
many international top executives and leading experts.
Morten will speak about the use of metrics and measurements

These are indeed busy times for SimpleSite and
Radoslav Todorov is a very welcome addition to our
technical team. Radoslav’s primary focus will be
development on our top priority projects, and he will be
responsible for the day-to-day dialog with our office in
Bulgaria. Radoslav holds a Master’s Degree in Computer
Science and Engineering from Technical University of
Denmark. For the past 6 years he has worked as a Software
Engineer at Dataflight Europe.
14% of SimpleSite's influx of customers
currently comes from Brazil. The national newspaper
Berlingske found that so interesting that they sent
a reporter and a photographer over to our
Copenhagen Head Office, to interview Morten on how
SimpleSite has created the rapid international
growth, and explosive customer influx in Brazil.

CEO Morten Elk will be speaking at the Digital
Days Conference on September 25th. The two day
conference will be held at the Radisson Blu Hotel
in Copenhagen on the 24th and 25th of September
2013. The conference will also feature
