Morten Elk will be speaking at international IT conference
Morten Elk (CEO) will be giving a presentation on the 20th September at the ITB Top Executive Conference. The conference focuses on new advances in IT management, business and technology and will include presentations from many international top executives and leading experts. New Senior Developer joins our office in Copenhagen
These are indeed busy times for SimpleSite and Radoslav Todorov is a very welcome addition to our technical team. Radoslav’s primary focus will be development on our top priority projects, and he will be responsible for the day-to-day dialog with our office in Bulgaria.
Radoslav holds a Master’s Degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Technical University of Denmark. For the past 6 years he has worked as a Software Engineer at Dataflight Europe.

Morten Elk (CEO) on explosive growth in Brazil
14% of SimpleSite's influx of customers currently comes from Brazil. The national newspaper Berlingske found that so interesting that they sent a reporter and a photographer over to our Copenhagen Head Office, to interview Morten on how SimpleSite has created the rapid international growth, and explosive customer influx in Brazil. Morten Elk will be speaking at the Digital Days conference
CEO Morten Elk will be speaking at the Digital Days Conference on September 25th. The two day conference will be held at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Copenhagen on the 24th and 25th of September 2013. The conference will also feature presentations from IKEA, Maersk, TV2 and Vestas. The main focus of the conference is on Digital Platforms and Morten has been invited to share 123hjemmeside’s international and very successful SEM (Search Engine Marketing) experiences with the conference participants from the online industry. In his presentation, Morten will, among other things, explain how 123hjemmeside uses SEM to create a high and profitable volume on new customers and how to optimise cost per click prices, cost per lead prices and customer value.

That's why we've hired one of Denmark's sharpest talents as our Senior Product Developer. Mads Buch Stage will ensure that our product development continues in the highest gear, with his keen hawk eye firm on developing new, groundbreaking solutions. Mads has worked with Marketing and User Experience for 10 years, with Danish internet portal Jubii and as co-founder of digital agency SeMor. So all eyes are on you, Mads – no pressure!

We've hired a Growth Hacker!
Lean business principles are part of our DNA. We measure everything, analyze vigorously and optimize non-stop. To help us strengthen that effort we have hired a Growth Hacker! Physicist Jonas Bjerregaard Nielsen is the man for the job and will keep the reigns tight between our users' needs and desires and the optimization of our products, basing every move on data driven experiments and analysis. Jonas studied Physics at Aarhus University joins us from The Geological Survey Centre of Denmark, GEUS.

It's no secret that we aim to be the best in customer service. With an aim to be the easiest website solution in the world, we must excel in offering our users any help they need to get started or develop their online presence. Kathrine Pedersen has joined us to supervise our service team and keep performance high. Kathrine holds a degree in Business Economics and Process Management and previously worked with HR and Accounting with McDonalds.

SimpleSite expands into 10 new markets
On May 1st, 2013, we launched SimpleSite in an additional 10 new markets: Poland, Czech Republic, Greece, Turkey, Portugal, Brazil, Canada, Russia, Indonesia and Malaysia – in 8 new languages! That means SimpleSite is now available in a total of 18 languages in 24 countries. We invested roughly 13 M DKK at the end of 2012 to be able carry out the effort as a collective launch. And we're truly proud of both the process and the result. With the new markets, we can set an ambitious growth goal for the future of 30-50% per year measured on both revenue and client base.

Adding more power to Technical & Domain Support
With our comprehensive growth scheme it is essential for us to run a tight ship in the technical department. So we've hired Dragos Chiotoroiu, who has a background in web development and design to add more power to our Technical Division and Domain Support. Dragos came to Denmark from Romania in 2012 to study IT technology at KEA, the Copenhagen School of Design and Technology.

It's all about added value in the world of startups – and our users are definitely getting some. From February 1st, 2013, all SimpleSite users get free access to our full online shop module. That means that anyone with a SimpleSite subscription can now add products and services to their virtual product catalogue and immediately get a comprehensive overview of all their payments, shipping and invoices. They can even accept payments directly on their SimpleSite! We're really looking forward to all the activity.
