WELCOME TO GRAFTON ANIMAL RESCUE INC
News,
We have had a devastating couple of weeks with a parvo out break at our main carer's property.
Sadly after aggressive treatment at our vet, several pups didnt make it.
All precautions were taken but parvo is a very nasty disease, extreemly hard to eradicate and control, even with the best efforts.
It is heartbreaking to rescue pups and then have this happen.
We are only rescueing fully vac dogs untill it is safe, unfortunatly during this time many pups/dog and cats will be put down at our local pound.
This is all the more reason why we are desperate to find foster carers, please if you can help contact us.
RIP little ones.
About Us
We are a group of people who have banded together to help the many unwanted animals in our lovely part of the country .
Over 250,000 dogs and cats are unnecessarily killed each year in this, the "lucky country" due to over
breeding by backyard breeders out to make a quick $$, with little regard of where their cute little puppies end up and people who are unwilling to desex their dogs and cats, thinking that their offspring will find good homes. They dont. Many of these animals end up in overcrowded pounds, and many will make that final trip alone, unwanted, afraid, and unloved.
We can't save them all, but we can save some.
