 Thank you Lina for teaching Wayne and I how to handle Macca and Molly with confidence. Both our dogs came to us from animal shelters with minimal training, especially Molly. Now, thanks to Lina, they both know that we're "top dogs", not them. Lina not only trained the dogs, she also taught us the right way to react when we're walking the dogs. It's so much easier and definitely much more pleasant when we take them for a walk now. If we take them to the off leash park, we know that they'll happily socialise with all dogs there, whereas previously they would have barked at every dog they saw. We got Tassie in April when she was just over 5 years old. She got attached to us immediately and loves to be around us all the time. However, because she had not had any training, it was difficult to take her on walks without her running ahead of us, and to give her commands to sit, stay, come and so forth. She was also not exposed to socialising with other dogs and was quite timid. We decided to get a dog trainer to help and we found Lina’s website. Besides training Tassie, Lina taught us what a pet needs to be an obedient dog and what we as pet owners should expect. Within a few days, Tassie had learnt to sit on command. She was also exposed to socializing with other dogs at the dog park and loves playing with the other dogs at the park now. When we first met Lina, we had sorted out a new home & family for our 8 months old Labrador puppy. He was out of control. He would jump up whenever we went into the yard. He would play by biting you. Our young son couldn't play in the yard. Walking on the lead was very difficult. He had become an outdoor dog because it was too hard having him in the house. It felt like he was controlling our family. Lina came to meet our family and Jet our cheeky puppy as this was our only hope of keeping him. We realised that it was us that had to change to gain respect from our dog. After our session with Lina, and much hard work from Lina, Jet & us, we can now take Jet for a walk as a family. We have learnt how to control him in the house. He now spends time with the family in the house several hours a day. It feels like we now have a family dog in our home, rather than us living in the dog's home!!
