New owner update:
Goldie's little girl is settling in wonderfully. She is very attached, already, and constantly looks to us to see what we want of her... just what we like in a dog. She should be easy to train because of that focus. We have named her Bandita because of her glorious face mask, but call her Bandi for short. It's appropriate... she has completely stolen our hearts. As I took her to the pet store and vet for various chores, she was the center of attention, though Bandi prefers not to be. She is still uncertain whether her trust and love will be handed off to someone else, so handling by others is still difficult for her. But around us she is comfortable and lively. Needless to say, her favorite location is on a lap, though I try to give her time off laps because I know there will come a time when she will over-fill them. Her potty training is going remarkably well, so your 2-section, doggy door technique must acquaint them well with the idea of being outside to "go". We keep her close to us or in the child-gate-fenced bathroom, about the size of her kennel, at all times indoors to reduce the chance of mistakes. As I write this she is laying across my toes below the computer. Thank you so much for the small, bouncy bundle of love. As Bill says, "Are you sure she doesn't need batteries? Things that cute and loveable usually require batteries!" Ruth

He is just such a good puppy!! Today is his second day of coming to work with me, he attended 2 management meetings yesterday but could only stay awake through half of the second one J He is so quiet here in the office and if it wasn’t for the doggy gate at my office door, no one would even know he is here.
We took him to a park near our house last night and he absolutely loved it!! He was jumping and attacking stuff in the grass and did so well, he wanted to play with any and all dogs that came pass. He is starting “doggy day care” on Friday, so I’m sure he would love that. He has also managed a few barks…. Especially if he notices that no one is paying any attention to him J J
