This is the year I turn 65, which still seems impossible because I thought only “old” people were that age.   One of my goals  to celebrate this time in my life is to participate in a short term mission trip  to Kenya in October with “Women in Focus”.  

I will be the team leader for 11 women from across Western Canada .    As this team of women travel to Kenya, it will be our desire to help some of the women there.    This will be  an opportunity for me to further develop the gifts God has given me and I’m excited about the opportunity of working with this group of women.

As I continue with my plans, I'm aware of the need to have the prayer support and encouragement of my friends here at home.   I would like to have a prayer team praying not only for the trip but also for the preparations for it.     If interested please send an email to be added to my prayer list:
