The photo to the right is of flowers on Hosta Fuji Botan, one of the few hostas to be grown primarily for the flowers, they are fully double and very beautiful.
My name is Loz. I live in northern Scotland. I open my garden a few times each year to raise funds for various charities, I always have a well stocked and varied plant table. I also do plant stalls for charity coffee mornings. I can't resist growing things from seed and propagating from cuttings/divisions/whatever, and always end up with loads of lovely plants.
I am very lucky and have different conditions in various areas of my garden. It goes from acidic to neutral, heavy and wet to crappy and very dry. So, I can grow an enormous range of plants, bulbs, shrubs. You name it, I try to grow it. I do not always have success but at least I try :0)

I grow various hardy Geraniums, they are such good 'dooers' in a variety of soil conditions, also Crocosmia in various varieties and a rather large collection of Hostas - many of which have to live in pots due to not enough garden space!
