January 2006
2006 was the busiest year yet for the Elk family. We started a new year by buying a new house! But we had to wait a while before moving in while we fixed a few things...

In February we went for an early spring break in the summer house. Jonathan loved being in the garden in his playhouse despite the arctic cold!

We did lots of gardening and Jonathan did a great job of collecting wood and catching dangerous animals.. !

Ulla and Jonathan enjoying their last days of "just the two of us!" The twins are due to arrive soon and then Jonathan will have to share Mum's attention with 2 younger brothers..

Finally the big day!!! Frederik and Albert are born without complications and turn out to be 2 healthy bouncing babies!

And Granny and Grandpa came to stay for a few days.. they are perfect babysitters for the twins.. one each!

Looking after a family of 5 is hard work, so Granny helps by taking Jonathan to the beach while Jacob takes a nap..

We all went to visit a farm and Jonathan loved the animals and specially this kitten!

The christening of the twin was in September. One twin each for Jacob and Ulla on the way to the church.. Having twins is a very simple way to ensure equality between the sexes!

In November Jonathan celebrated his 3rd birthday..

Frederik and Albert are growing and GROWING.. 5 months old here..

Christmas arrives after a long and wonderful year.. although sometimes it felt as if we would never make it..
