What a lovely memory site. I went to Eastwood School from 1952-1954 'ish. I browsed the photos for the school, and recognised the head teacher, Mr Binns, (I got the cane from him, cant remember why). Mr Walker, who was geography teacher, Mr Lund, my favourite teacher. he was for science and maths. Mrs Abberton, for english. Also Miss Foster, who was music teacher.

Looking through pictures with Eric Newiss and Eric Helliwell of Eastwood School. Commented could not find myself with the class. Spill Helliwell quickly said, "Aye, you'll be down Marley Beck tickling trout or catching a rabbit! Happy days, but where was I?
