The Bearded Collie is a fun loving, intelligent dog. They enjoy being a member of the family. They love to participate in a variety of activites including herding, obedience, conformation or just going for a long walk  with the family.  Most of all they just want to be loved. They get along well with other dogs and with each other. If you like a good laugh then a Beardie might be the dog for you. Their long coat does require a good deal of grooming.  The final result of a well groomed Beardie is something to be proud of.
