Misselbrook Times-Review-- Established--May 19th, 2005

Pictured are publishing partners Gord Clauws and Ted Misselbrook from a photo taken by then Windsor Star reporter Gary O'Flynn. The picture and news story appeared in the Windsor daily in 1965 to announce the birth of a new weekly newspaper the North Kent Leader.  Clauws and Misselbrook, have for the past 20 months been remembering, writing and gathering photos for a  self-published book with a working title "Follow the Leader" from the founding of the company in 1965 to the sale of the company in 1988.The partners have also posted the history of Leader Publications to this internet website.

Don Spearman was the chief editorial writer of the North Kent Leader from the first edition in September 1965 to his retirement in the fall of 1986.  Spearman is shown with founding partners Misselbrook and Clauws at a retirement party held for the long time employee.
